Since its birth, Rajshahi University Model United Nations Association (RUMUNA) has continuously arranged National and Intra MUN conferences and each was nothing but a success filled with all of your love and admiration. To mention specifically, RUMUNA took the courage to establish its very first ‘Regional MUN Conference’ named ‘North Bengal Regional Model United Nations’ (NBMUN’15) in the year 2015. Needless to say, it was a massive success. Since that year RUMUNA has arranged 6 national grand MUN conferences in consecutive years by the name RUMUN’16, RUMUN’17, RUMUN’18, RUMUN’19, and RUMUN’20 respectively.
After successfully arranging the first-ever post-covid national MUN conference, RUMUN 2020 in the year 2021, lighting the fire of diplomacy in the minds of the newer generation by organizing the ‘Intra Silk City Conclave 2022’, Rajshahi University Model United Nations Association proudly invites you all for yet another signature conference of this year ‘Rajshahi University Model United Nations 2022’!
With the theme “Safeguarding Peace Through Liquidating Global Insecurities and Upholding Trans-border Fraternity” of RUMUN2022, it aspires to proceed with the intention of bringing out brilliant minds with effective solutions, acknowledging them, and giving them a push to make a positive impact in the outer world.

MUN is a new format of debate practice in the present time, where students debate according to UN rules and regulations. Generally, every student attends a conference as a shadow delegate on the global problematic issue. These three days they will discuss, debate, and negotiate with each other, and finally, they will make a fruit solution paper that will be helpful for the world to keep peace and progress. Model United Nations is a great opportunity for students to develop strong leadership skills, public speaking, research and writing skills, conflict resolution, and cooperation. Students will meet new people from other schools/Universities, which allows them to network, build connections, and make new friends.
RUMUNA has been working relentlessly from the very beginning of its foundation to spread the MUN culture everywhere, especially in the northern region of Bangladesh. After arranging the first-ever regional MUN Summit throughout the country named, North Bengal Model United Nations 2015 (NBMUN) with utmost success it presented other MUN conferences in the following years nominating respectively as RUMUN16, RUMUN17 & RUMUN18, RUMUN19, RUMUN20, Intra SilkCity Conclave 2022, RUMUN22, NBMUN 2023.
